Let it all out.
I'm really glad my brother Collin came to visit a couple years ago. We really worked out all possible issues... at least I think we did. I certainly talked a lot.

Seriously. My brother's expression is priceless.

Death, Decay and other Fun Subjects
SPECIAL

Really proud of this piece. Mainly because it evokes and communicates something personal to me -- my feelings on the inevitable.
I did a lot of artwork over the weekend and it was so fulfilling. I've been on a writing tear as of late and hadn't done much drawing/tracing/photoshopping, but I got a little bit of an image-craving this Holiday Weekend, and cranked out some new portraits after finding a strange bit of inspiration via the theme of decay and demise.
I Heart LA

I know how uplifiting that sounds. But can't something terrifying be turned into something beautiful?

Post-Halloween-Distress
I AIN'T FRAID OF NO...

...GHOSTS.
Once again, I waited until the last minute and then half-assed a "look" for Halloween. And that look was "Tall Guy with vague zombie Makeup," which was better than my original inclination, "Bloody Guy".
I managed to stay out until 4am without really having the time of my life. Youth is overrated. Sometimes.
I like to think of myself as a fairly creative guy, but when it comes to Halloween, I'm completely past my prime.

Binky Rudich Grows Up
When I was a kid, I performed in a community theater production of a play called REVENGE OF THE SPACE PANDAS: OR, BINKY RUDICH AND THE 2 SPEED CLOCK.
I had the lead role of child genius inventor Binky Rudich. It was a colossal failure. We had zero attendance a couple matinees.
I hadn't thought about it in years. So I googled the play. It was written by some guy named David Mamet.
...
David Mamet. Wrote a kids play. About Space Pandas. And talking sheep.
Nice to know I've performed Mamet on stage.
